A: Neuromodulators are frequently used for the lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines, and lines around the outside corners of your eyes. However, if you have another area of concern, our injectors will discuss what they feel the appropriate intervention would be.
A: Most patients experience no pain from the injections.
A: There are very few people who are not candidates for Neuromodulators. Those with certain neurological conditions may not be eligible. Please feel free to schedule a complimentary consultation to address any concerns.
A: There is some variation among individuals. Most patients go three to four months between treatments.
A: The medication will gradually leave the muscle. As the muscles begin to contract again, wrinkles in the skin will eventually reform.
A: You can exercise before your appointment, however after you’ve been injected, we suggest waiting until the following day to resume your regular exercise regimen. However, your injector will provide you with more specific instructions based on how extensive your treatment is, if necessary.
A: Yes, but we do not recommend trying any new treatments less than 3 months before your big event. Botox will last approximately 3 months and filler can last 6-12 months depending on the area injected. If you’re interested in trying Botox or dermal fillers for the first time, we suggest coming in at least 6 months before your big day to see if you like the results.
A: Consuming alcohol less than 12 hours before your appointment can increase your risk for bleeding and bruising. We suggest abstaining from alcohol the night before and for 24 hours after your treatment
